INDIRA CESARINE AT THE 12TH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL PHOTO MODE – CANNES, FRANCE
The 12th International Festival of Fashion Photography took place in Cannes, France from June 15 to August 29, 2014, with the official VIP inauguration on Friday, June 27th. This year 90 fashion photographers from around the world showcased their work on La Croisette (the main boardwalk along the beachfront of the city) as well as in other exhibition areas throughout the city. The Festival’s grand opening took place on Friday, June 27th. Indira Cesarine was selected to participate in the festival this year. Other photographers featured in the exhibit included Chico Bialas, Iris Brosch, Vincent Peters, Saima Altunkaya, Kenneth Willardt, Ewelina Stechnij, Camilla Camaglia, Daniele Cipriani, Anna Osk Erlingsdottir, Enrico Labriola, Cyril Lagel, Branislav Simoncik, Diego Zitelli, Karech Contarsy, Nahoko Spiess, and Susanne Stemmer – who were amongst the ninety photographers selected for the festival and exhibition.
The exhibition space was presented between La Croisette, the Gardens of the Rose Garden, the Miramar area and the Palm Beach Casino. Four cardinal places that transform the city of Cannes into a true open-air art gallery, offering the photography high visibility and a wider audience. There were one million visitors to view the indoor and outdoor festival featuring large format prints of over one hundred and fifty works of influential fashion photographers.
