“EQUAL MEANS EQUAL” NEON SCULPTURE

Empowering feminist themes are often a point of departure for Indira Cesarine’s multi-sensory series, which challenge the status quo and shed light on oppressive narratives. “EQUAL MEANS EQUAL” is a neon sculpture, emphasizing the importance of equal rights for all humans. It has been exhibited in numerous galleries around America, including in New York at The Untitled Space “ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE” group show (2018), “Of Women” at the Rockaway Artist Alliance (2018), “RISE: Empower, Change and Action!” at the Whitney Modern Gallery in San Fransisco, CA (2018), “F213” presented by the Northern California Women’s Caucus for Art (NCWCA), 2019 and “Indira Cesarine x Neon” Solo Show, 2019, curated by Jenny Mushkin Goldman of Kin + Gold. Recently featured in Glamour Magazine (Germany), as well as a number of other publications.
