“PRIVATE IS POLITICAL” SERIES

In this series of self portraits created in 2016 by Indira Cesarine, self-portrayal becomes a means to address the personal as political via self-reflection and reinvention, tackling conventional notions of female image and taboo. Exhibited in “SELF REFLECTION” exhibit at The Untitled Space, also curated by the artist.
